The Leftist Takedown, Bros-style

An aggressive and vocal faction of the hard left is out to destroy Democrats they don’t approve of — and that includes just about everyone. These folks are out for the blood of so-called “Dem sell-outs,” especially those who gain notice or pose a threat to their approved “true progressive” leader. And they use a very simple technique to tear down their targets, which I will illustrate using the fitting acronym, BRO. This is how it’s done:

B: Find something BAD about your target Democrat, which is easy as every politician has negatives.

R: RAISE that negative up to be the headline on that person.

O: Draw the most extreme conclusion from that negative, and make that conclusion as OFFENSIVE as possible.

S: Spread these negatives and extreme conclusions repeatedly through SOCIAL MEDIA to cement your narrative to destroy your target.

To show how this simplistic technique can be used on anyone, I will now demonstrate it on, say, Bernie Sanders:

B: He voted against the Amber Alert.

R: WHO VOTES AGAINST THE AMBER ALERT?

O: HE IS PRO-CHILD ABDUCTION.

S. Repeat this continually through social media. Draw a meme.

Let’s try another:

B: He voted for the deregulation of credit swap derivatives, which led to the 2008 economic collapse.

R: HE SUPPORTED WALL STREET DEREGULATION.

O: BERNIE CAUSED THE ECONOMIC CRASH.

S: Post, tweet. Draw a meme.

Let’s go for one more:

B: He wrote rape essays.

R: HE WROTE RAPE ESSAYS!

O: HE IS THE PERSON ON THE PLANET WHO IS THE MOST PRO-RAPE!

S: Repeat on social media. Draw a meme.

Now, of course, I’m not saying any of the above offensive conclusions are real. But what does that matter so long as it rips your target apart?

Keep in mind that you can take this tactic up a notch by combining the above into one meme which you post non-stop for maximum destruction.

In conclusion, I offer you this handy mnemonic so you can easily spot those using the BROS system, and safely label them as Bros.
